What you will be doing:
- Provide technical support and guidance on energy efficient technologies and practices in energy programs.
- Perform technical calculations or utilize market and/or technical studies to quantify the baseline and measure case conditions and potential savings, cost, and other relevant parameters.
- Conduct prescriptive and custom engineering reviews of energy savings calculations for commercial, institutional, and industrial energy efficiency project applications.
- Provide a peer review of other engineers’ work.
- Conduct virtual site inspections to verify installation and operation of energy efficiency equipment.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in (Engineering or Physical Sciences or related field) and
- 2+ years of experience with prescriptive and custom project requirements.
- 2+ years of experience in performing engineering calculations related to energy efficiency.
What we would like you to have:
- Demonstrated experience with whole building energy modeling tools such as Energy Pro or eQuest.
- Demonstrated experience working in commercial, agricultural and/or industrial energy efficiency or related equipment, M&V, audits, etc.
- CEM certification.
- Experience conducting ASHRAE Level II and Level III energy audits in commercial facilities.
- Professional skills you will use:
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
- Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as clients and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $70,374.00 – $119,636.00
