SUMMARY:

PV&V Engineering Coordinator: As a PV&V Engineering Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supporting Product Verification and Validation (PVV) engineering activities for new product development and product upgrade programs. Some minor travel required; primarily local travel to and from test facility; (Less than 10%)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support for PVV software tools
  • Analyze daily reports, making summaries, and preparing material to be used in presentations
  • Failure/root cause investigations
  • Supporting field test fleet for various Hay and Forage products
  • Respond/support field issues and collaborate with design personnel as needed
  • Identify and prioritize both potential and realized product deficiencies and collaborate with project teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Actively monitor field test failures and report status for multiple products
  • Facilitate field test issue resolution meetings with the H&F product engineering teams
  • Coordinate HDRS reviews, Vision event ranking meetings, field parts updates, machine rebuild activities
  • Manage projects to meet schedule deliverables

REQUIRED:

  • Experience using data visualization processes (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Exposure to John Deere EETs, Vision & NCCA Systems
  • Advanced capability in Microsoft Excel including macros and advanced analysis
  • Basic programming knowledge- visual basic
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint to generate forms & develop content
  • Familiarity with SAP
  • Familiarity with Creo
  • Demonstrated success managing and prioritizing competing business needs
  • Primarily performs as an individual contributor, but leads and coordinates cross functional team meetings for PVV engineering.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of function and application of agricultural equipment, preferably hay and forage

EDUCATION:

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree, Ag Engineering Degree, Electrical Engineering Degree
