Your Responsibilities
As an Engineer, SSL/CTL Cooling Engineer for John Deere Dubuque Works located in Dubuque, IA, you will…
- As a skid steer / compact track loader cooling engineer located in Dubuque, IA, you will be responsible for cooling system design and vehicle integration.
- Diagnose engine cooling issues during new product development and support engine cooling test activities.
- Lead cross-functional team related to testing, performance evaluation, software, and/or manufacturing teams.
VISA sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
What Skills You Need
- 2 or more years of design engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to analyze technical data, consider multiple alternatives, and provide data driven decisions / recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience managing several projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with 3D modeling tools, such as Creo and Solidworks.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience with analytics software such as KULI, MATLAB, or nCode.
- Experience as a Team Lead, Design Review Lead or Subject Matter Expert.
- Working knowledge of John Deere EPDP or future product development through program completions.
- Skid steer / compact track loader product and customer knowledge.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural or Aerospace Engineering.
