The Role: Lead Software Engineer

The Team:
S&P Global Market Intelligence currently has an open Lead Developer position for Office & Screening. This position supports the development and launch of CIQ Pro Application. The individual will be working with cutting edge Microsoft and Big Data technologies.
The Office & Screening Developer will work collaboratively within an agile team comprised of: Project Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance and Business System Analyst to lead the following efforts:
Design, deploy and maintain Enterprise Web Applications
Implement on-the-fly financial data aggregation engine
Work to develop and maintain pages and reporting

Responsibilities:
Development, testing, and release of assigned project deliverables for software development projects that support key business needs.
Develop code that satisfies end-to-end specifications, conforms to architectural governance standards and results in building high-quality, high performance, scalable software.
Creating, maintaining and versioning API’s in the AWS management layer
Working with other teams to on-board them to the services and help them troubleshoot issues.
Working with SQL Server and related technologies to allow the creation of and the support of data migrations and transformations
Design and support cloud integration and error reporting solutions
Produce system design documents.
Collaborate effectively with technical partners.
Be able to document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments.
What we’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years ASP.Net Core C# Development
- 3+ years of JavaScript/HTML5
- Familiarity with frameworks such as React.Js
- 3+ years of PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQL
- RESTFul API, Json
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering.
- Understanding of product versioning, packaging and deployment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Prior work in financial services
- Familiarity with big data – spark/scala, elasticsearch is a plus
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $101,100 to $160,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
