$60,000 – $80,000

JOB SUMMARY

As a Scrum Team Manufacturing Engineer for tractors in Fargo, North Dakota, you will be responsible for increasing customer satisfaction by resolving manufacturing and process issues affecting current production tractors. This includes the application of 7-step problem solving methodology to analyze data, determine root cause and implement solutions that improve warranty, improve manufacturing, reduce cost, or add features.

  • Work within a self-organizing, cross-functional team utilizing the Scrum methodology to drive projects to conclusion
  • Develop, design and plan equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to enhance utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities
  • Establish accident prevention measures, and plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation and ensure compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines
  • Determine facility specifications, including analysis and evaluation of location, material resources, and structural design
  • Resolve technical problems and recommend production improvement
  • Other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Agricultural Engineering
  • Experience working with Scrum methodologies or with an Agile development framework
  • Knowledge of farming applications, agronomic practices, and general farm machinery operation
  • Ability to work with a cross functional team and effectively communicate issues, ideas, concepts, and solutions with internal stakeholders, outside suppliers, and management
  • Knowledge of 7-step problem solving methodology
  • Minimum 2 years direct manufacturing experience
  • AutoCAD or Creo experience preferred
  • Strong Mechanical aptitude
