Senior Sharepoint Software Developer, San Antonio, TX

***THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE***

SUMMARY

Primarily focus on SharePoint for the federal client to assist and define and refine requirements, design applications, code, and test functionality in effort to support their need and maximize function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Evaluates Applications for their effectiveness within the Command mission related to their effectiveness for implementation, CYBER/RMF Impact, cost analysis and function.
  • Develops concepts and improvements for the Command SharePoint dashboards and Portals which can provide efficiencies in files management, usability, alerts for calendars, meetings, virtual scrums, and other activities as required by the Command IT Managers.
  • Modifies, installs, tests, and evaluates Operating Systems (OS), Systems Administration (SA) software (SW), as required by the IT Manager
  • Develops decision analysis reports (DARs) and test evaluation reports as required by the Command to support SW evaluations and test findings.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Highschool Diplima or GED.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/is strongly desired and a Masters’ degree in a related field is a plus.
  • 5 years or equivalent experience with software engineering with a focus on SharePoint.
  • Military, Dept. of Defense, or federal contracting experience with software engineering is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Must have good analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and highly effective organizational skills.
  • SharePoint 2013, 2016, and SharePoint Online (365) development experience is a plus.
  • Any working knowledge of Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, jQuery, and SharePoint Designer is strongly desired.
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills; both oral and written are needed.
  • Strong ability to prioritize.
  • Must be proficient in all MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • US Citizenship, and Active Secret clearance.
  • Ability to successfully pass a federal background check and drug screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in a secured federal office setting.
