CeLeen LLC (d/b/a WWC Federal), is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the Geophysical Monitoring System (GMS) for the US National Data Center (US NDC) at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM.

Relocation assistance may be available.

Specific Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as an R&D Computer Science professional supporting the development team for a next generation system.
  • Working from developed requirements, specifications, and architectural design for the new system as required.
  • Innovating and collaborating in an engaging Agile environment to architect, design, develop, test, and deploy advanced software for complex, real-time decision support systems.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 or more years’ experience in software design, engineering, and development skills, including familiarity with modern software development practices and tools.
  • Experience with Java, Git, and Gradle.
  • Experience with JavaScript/Typescript, React or Angular.
  • Experience developing and deploying software in a Linux based environment.
  • Must be able to obtain a DOE Q clearance and obtain a TS/SCI clearance, which may require polygraph testing.
  • Must work onsite in Albuquerque, NM.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Federal will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current, active DOE Q or DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Kubernetes & Docker experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Designs for system features, software frameworks & infrastructure, deployment platform, development tooling, etc.
  • Distributed system design.
  • Service-based architectures (e.g. SOA, microservices).
  • Inter-process communication patterns, techniques and technologies.
  • Data storage architectures (relational, non-relational – e.g. document, wide-column).
  • Fault tolerance concepts and techniques.
  • System scaling concepts and techniques.
  • Large-scale system design.
  • Previous experience working in a collaborative Agile environment.
