The qualified individual will be responsible for software development of the Dematic extension used in the Configura CET Designer application. This extension, along with the base software, is used internally to design and provide material handling systems for our customers. This person will work within a global development team to ensure quality and provide effective solutions for the end users.

The base pay range for this role is $53,000 – $113,000 at the time of the posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
Work on implementing new features and bug fixes to provide an effective tool for end users
Work within a global Agile development team
Attend, and contribute in, regular meetings for highlighting progress, project improvement, and developer collaboration
Provide code reviews, and other quality assurance measures, for others on the team
Work with Subject Matter Experts to define scope of work and to prove efficacy of code
Work with DevOps on items related to their processes
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and code base
Proficient in object-oriented programming language with extensible syntax.
Willingness to work closely with other developers to gain understanding of new features, dependencies, and technical details.
Must be self-motivated with analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with good interpersonal skills.
Team player with attention to detail, ability to research solutions and a willingness to learn.
Sense of ownership and pride in creating impactful and quality code.
Work hours are typically 40 hours a week.
What We are Looking For:
4-year college degree related to Computer Science or Engineering
Experience with a 3D design applications or 3D game development is a plus.
Experience with CET Designer or CET Developer is a plus.
Knowledge of Visual Studio, C++ or C-Sharp a plus.
Experience with SQL to retrieve and manipulate structured databases is a plus.
Experience producing, maintaining and publishing catalogues is a plus.
Knowledge of streamlined workflows for commits, branches, merge requests and Jira-issues a plus.
Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
