Job Description

Position Overview: This person will create and customize in-house programs to decrease our dependence on third-party custom programmers and software vendors. The candidate will develop software, maintain existing custom software, and build automation processes to create efficiencies in various areas of our company. They will utilize API environments to read/write data from our company databases.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Read and decipher current coding/software language.
Maintain current software programming.
Work closely with business division owners to make modifications to existing applications or help design new applications based on user requirements.
Participate in the full product life cycle from idea to design and maintenance.
Develop and support web and mobile applications.
Work to support process improvement via automation.
Provide solutions to complex issues while keeping the end user’s experience in mind.
Manage full life cycle of assigned projects.

Job Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications

Experience with software languages such as: PHP, ASP.NET, and JavaScript
Experience with CI/CD and other Agile practices
Ability and desire to learn new software languages, techniques, and tools
Exceptional communication skills

Education and Experience

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, preferred but not required
2+ years of previous development experience
