Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for a Software Developer 4 (Sailpoint Developer) opportunity for our customer in Los Alamos, NM to support the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Location: 100% Remote, potential onsite for onboarding.
Organization/Group: SAE-2 (9V020A)

Desired Skills:
- Expertise level of knowledge with SailPoint IdentityIQ development of workflows, rules, connectors, policies, and other configurations.
- Strong in overall IAM (Identity and Management) concepts of identity lifecycle management, role management, joiner, mover, and leaver processes
- Experience developing API services to handle access policies, access requests and integrate with applications.
- Experience designing and developing workflows, forms, and reusable rules, tasks, and reports within SailPoint IdentityIQ to support a wide range of applications and functionalities.
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP
SailPoint Identity IQ and Access Management Developer
Summary:
The Software and Applications Engineering (SAE) Division supports Los Alamos National Laboratory’s (LANL) enterprise applications and performs software application development support, database development and administration, software quality management, and enterprise application consulting. The Enterprise Business Software Group (SAE-2) provides custom application development, commercial off-the-shelf application implementation, database administration, and adoption/integration with Software as a Service solution. SAE-2 supports business processes for financial, personnel, procurement, and human resources IT systems.
Software Developer
Working alongside some of the brightest minds, you will work with a team using agile development methodologies that support existing custom and COST applications. The selected candidates will work as a Software Developer on IDS (Institutional Data Services) team in the Enterprise Business Software group (SAE-2) supporting the development and maintenance operations.
A selected candidate will be responsible to:
- Application on-boarding, including configuration of creation, correlation, and build map rules.
- Extending reporting capabilities via application-specific reporting.
- Role mining and modeling assistance and configuration.
- Risk/SOD configuration and implementation consulting.
- Project/configuration reviews.
- Strategies for configuring a specific functionality.
- Documentation review.
- Product version upgrades
- Planning and preparation
- Analysis of customer configuration
- Ongoing patch installation
- Advanced configuration (workflow, rules, reports)
- Mentoring and customer-specific training.
- Deliver progress reports to project leaders, sponsors, and help define project plans and milestones.
- Collaborate/communicate with customers and colleagues.
- Provide knowledge transfer to technical staff.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Expertise level of knowledge with SailPoint IdentityIQ development of workflows, rules, connectors, policies, and other configurations.
- Strong in overall IAM (Identity and Management) concepts of identity lifecycle management, role management, joiner, mover, and leaver processes
- Experience developing API services to handle access policies, access requests and integrate with applications.
- Experience designing and developing workflows, forms, and reusable rules, tasks, and reports within SailPoint IdentityIQ to support a wide range of applications and functionalities.
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP
- Experience utilizing SQL and understanding data structures of relational databases.
- Should have excellent communication skills to interact with business users and work on enhancement requests.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles
- Experience utilizing tools such as Jira and/or Confluence.
