What You’ll Be Doing – Developer I/II

BigTime Software is looking for a full-stack Software Engineer I/II to join our engineering team in building the next-generation of the BigTime product. The individual in this role will collaborate extensively to design, build, and test complex functionality in our award-winning, cloud-based system and multiple integrations with other SaaS systems.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about development, comfortable or willing to get comfortable/learn both front and backend, thrives on technical challenges, takes initiative, and ready to collaborate in our fast-paced, agile environment.

Who You Are

Experience with full-stack .NET development. Our tech stack includes: C#, SQL, .NET MVC, JavaScript/CSS/HTML, AngularJS, RESTful API, memcached, Redis, MongoDB and hosting in AWS. You don’t need to be an expert in all of these technologies but if you are strong in a couple of these, we’d love to talk to you!

Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a clear understanding of software engineering (SDLC, OOP principles, design patterns, SOLID design, agile development, testing and debugging methods, CI/CD automation experience, etc).

Interest and ability to learn other coding languages and technologies as needed.

We’re a hybrid environment and our engineering team is in several locations so great written and verbal communication skills!

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or its professional equivalent.

2-4+ years hands on development experience, ideally in a .NET environment

Characteristics that could make you really stand out

.NET Core

Angular/React or other frontend development frameworks

Experience with software design and architecture

Container technologies like Docker

Microservices

Automated testing

SAAS experience

Developing cloud-based integrations with multiple cloud providers

Experience working with designers and business stakeholders

Business applications: Accounting systems, CRM systems, PSA systems
