About this role:

The Sr. Digital Marketer is responsible for creating and executing high-impact corporate digital strategies and programs to improve Sierra’s brand awareness and customer acquisition. As part of a small but mighty marketing team, this person will play a critical role in our growth strategy and shape digital programs that drive demand, pipeline and revenue. The Sr. Digital Marketer will have a proven capability to turn a digital presence into a demand creation and capture engine and is well-versed in a broad range of digital marketing areas, including content, SEO, PPC, organic and paid social media, website conversion optimization and marketing automation. The person in this role must be a strategic thinker who understands how to measure the success of a digital program against KPIs, conduct frequent experiments and make improvements based on performance analysis. The ideal candidate is motivated by impacting revenue, can operationalize a digital demand gen strategy for growth and is energized by working in a dynamic, high growth, fast-paced environment.

Day-to-Day, you will:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing strategies including website, SEO, PPC, social media to deliver against ambitious pipeline and revenue targets
  • Develop rich content (blogs, whitepapers, videos, webinars, etc.) and content distribution strategies that attract a qualified audience, positions Sierra as a thought leader, keeps Sierra top of mind and optimizes conversion opportunities across the funnel
  • Transform the Sierra website into a strong, predictable demand generation and capture engine through a content & SEO strategy, audience specific engagement and conversion tactics
  • Optimize digital marketing efforts through continuous A/B testing and create an innovative test and learn plan to validate new digital channels, strategies, copy and creative
  • Work cross-functionally with growth, customer success and product teams to meet revenue growth targets
  • Measure and report on performance of all digital marketing programs and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships that help drive our key strategic goals
  • Understand deeply the lifecycle of customers, our buyer personas and ideal customer profile and use those insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimize approaches
  • Understand Sierra’s product offering and how to message and position it effectively
  • Travel occasionally to attend sponsored events in the U.S. and Canada


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
  • 5+ years marketing experience in a B2B SaaS company, including at least 3 in a digital or growth-oriented role
  • Entrepreneurial individual contributor who can work independently and with many competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills, with deep understanding of digital channels, new marketing technologies and industry best practices
  • Proven understanding of marketing metrics and analytics from digital performance through revenue generated
  • Experience creating SEO and paid acquisition campaigns, mapped to business goals, and managing related budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to create digital content and copy
  • Experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, WordPress, SEO tools, social media advertising
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly resourceful and creative
  • Ability and willingness to learn fast and pick up new things easily
  • A fearless ability to adapt to change and work well in varied scenarios with cross-functional teams, managing multiple deadlines and priorities as business needs evolve
