Our client, a pioneer in designing and manufacturing agricultural and industrial equipment used worldwide, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join their high-performing team!

As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for inventing, designing, documenting, building, and testing new electrical solutions to meet the need of our client’s machine owners and operators. This role supports testing, prototype and production manufacturing, sales and service. You will have responsibilities to lead and mentor others while in this position.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Agricultural Engineering and at least four (4) years of professional engineering experience. Knowledge of hydraulics and heavy machinery and/or equipment is also desirable (but not required).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and detail circuits, harnesses, and assembly prints using ECAD and MCAD tools for manufacturability, cost effectiveness, and safety
  • Develop electrical schematics to power and grounding standard and supporting documentation for machine electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and analyze electrical circuits

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to S/W development for GUI (Kivy, matplotlib), Ethernet (network configuration & driver support), CAN (J1939), driver modifications, I2C, Database (SQL and Structure)
  • Work with other engineers to sure the systems are robust and functional in harsh off-road environments by guiding the development of environmental and EMC requirements, test system hardware, while applying industry standards and regulatory requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ Years Manage the complete software, website interface and custom tool development process from conception to deployment. Contribute to the front-end and back-end development process.Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
  • 10+ Years | Proficient and knowledgeable in programming languages such as, but not limited to, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, Ajax, Angular JS/jQuery and SQL. Work with the IT team and website hosts to maintain and upgrade software, web interfaces and custom tools following deployment

Preferred Requirements

  • 10+ Years | Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software, web forms, custom tools, and various website interfaces. Test, troubleshoot and fix bugs. Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process. Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs, website custom tools, interfaces, and applications. Support and collaborate with SECO Energy’s IT team and other third-party vendors to troubleshoot website performance issues, data requests for custom tools and interfaces, and custom software and application troubleshooting.
  • 10+ Years | Maintain MySQL database architecture. Work with the SECO IT team and website hosts to create, maintain, update and troubleshoot AWS and server issues. Manage and support website tools, applications, and databases for critical member events such as District Meetings and Annual Meetings. Assist various departments and third-party vendors to create, maintain, upgrade and design new custom tools and interfaces to expand SECO’s engagement with its members. Adhere to SECO Energy’s web stylesheet for consistent branding.

Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated front-end development support to existing internal and external websites.

Maintain websites of varying web technologies and different code bases.

Work with a back-end services team to integrate REST APIs into front-end development.

Work independently with clients and receive taskings through several points of contact.

Provide demonstrations of new features and functionality to the customer.

Develop new websites using the latest versions of modern JavaScript frameworks.

Provide documentation and assist program management with deliverable tracking.

Assist the back-end services team with creating user stories and features for existing and upcoming work.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).

Active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly (US Citizenship required).

5+ years experience of software development in relation to web.

2+ years experience using modern JavaScript frameworks (i.e. Angular, React, Vue).

Experience using and developing for at least one content management system (i.e. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, SharePoint).

Strong knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines.

Familiarity with REST design principles.

Ability to create self-contained, reusable, and testable code.

Experience integrating front-end content with REST or HTTP APIs.

Extensive experience with Git source code management system.

Ability to break large tasks down into smaller, more manageable pieces.

Experience working in Agile environments.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Master’s Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).

Experience developing in PHP.

Experience designing wireframes and/or full mockups.

Back-end experience, including NOSQL Database Management, AWS Lambda development, and AWS API Gateway configuration experience.

Experience working in both commercial and C2E AWS environments.

OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect or SAML experience

Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app and assets.

Experience working with the US Web Design System and Material Design patterns and principals.

Good understanding of configuring CI/CD Pipelines.

In-depth knowledge of validation by government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods.
